In this course you will build your confidence and work on a variety of sewing projects. I will show you how to thread a machine and cutting fabric before building your skills with three different projects. During the course, we will cover:

Make a cushion cover: you will learn how to sew in a straight line and learn how to finish seams with a zig zag stitch

Make a make-up bag: you will put in your first zip with our guidance

Get ready for our pyjama party: Take your first steps into dressmaking.

You will learn how to cut out fabric from a pattern and sew up your shorts. We will cover the basis of hemming and inserting elastic. This project will be divided into two 3 hour sessions.

Don’t forget to have some fabric ready for your pyjama shorts. Contact me for guidance on how much fabric to get. Or if you need fabric, I can assist you. This fabric will not be included in the course price.
