Since abandoning his all-time love five months into their relationship, Ipswich based singer and songwriter Marc Newby has been on a mission to win her back. That's why he formed War Waves. Completing the band are two arguing brothers forming the rhythm section and an unfeasibly handsome lead guitarist. War Waves teamed up with producer Steve Mann (Backwater Records) in spring 2014 and will release their self-titled debut album on 1st May 2015. Mann's 70s influences, excessive experience and passion for all varieties of rock music combine with Newby's heartfelt songwriting to produce a record which is raw, exciting and vulnerable.
